• Lisa and Damien guided us on an adventure in Edinburgh called Festival Fringe. Over 3,000 shows throughout the city in small and large venues. They included theatre, music, cabaret, magic, comedy and - we're told - even cooking!
• We saw shows at:
  • The Voodoo Rooms (Rock & Roll Magic Show)
  • The Three Sisters (Best of Edinburgh Fringe Comedy)
  • Boston Bar (Fragments)
  • Cowgate - "the Underbelly" (The Faustus Project)
  • The Space @ Surgeon's Hall (Tall Tails, Frozen Love: The Fleetwood Mac Story)
  • Just the Tonic at the Caves (0 0 Billionaire by Ian Christophe)
• On Saturday night, we secured tickets for the 75th anniversary of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. This performance was extraordinary. Not only did we see performances by the best of the British Military, there were performance by ensemble featuring both military and civilian pipe bands from around the world, The Royal Edinburgh Military Pipes and Drums, the United States Air Force Honor Guard Drill Team, the Orchestra of Naval Forces of Ukraine ... and many more. The performance occurred at the Edinburgh Castle.
• We had tasty meals at Angels with Bagpipes and Cafe Royal. Of course, we enjoyed numerous pubs such as The Devil's Advocate, The Standing Order, and The Black Rose.
